| Abstract: | There were about five stages in the process of the population development of the mulberrythrips,Pseudodendrothrips mori(Niwa ) in mulberry fields within one year.The thrips wereenormously incidental and damaged the mulberry leaves seriously during mid-late July to early-mid August.The measures of mulberry management and the natural enemies of the pest could inhibitits population development.To control the thrips efficiently, pesticides should be applied before mid-late July andsummer-cut of the mulberry branches should be conducted promptly. |
