21世纪我国农业科学技术发展趋势与展望

摘    要:笔者展望了世纪之交我国社会经济与农村发展的新形势,探讨了21世纪农业科学的特点和发展趋势,提出了人类即将进入知识社会,科学技术是推动农业现代化建设的强大动力,阐述了21世纪农业科学技术的发展趋势、发展重点、主要新领域和战略思路;指出21世纪必将迎来一场新的农业科技革命,要以“新的农业科技革命”为契机,迎接跨世纪的历史机遇;以“新的农业科技革命”为导向,建设粮食安全与食物保障体系;以“新的农业科技革命”为动力,加快建设现代农业。

Abstract:In this article , the author looks forward to the new situations of China's social , economic and agricultural developments at the turn of the century , and discusses characteristics and developmental trend of agricultural science in the 21st century. lt is pointed out that science and technology is the motive force for the construction of agricul- tural modernization in the coming highly intelligent society , the trend , emphasis , main new areas and strategical thought for the development of agricultural science and technolo- gy in the next century are also studied and described. lt is pointed out that a new revolu- tion in agricultural science and technology will take place in the coming 21st century. Thus , we should take " the new revolution in agricultural science and technology " as a favourable circumstances for meeting the historical opportunity at the turn of the century , take " the new revolution in agricultural science and technology" as an orientation for es- tablishing a system of ensuring food safety and security , and take " the new revolution in agricultural science and technology " as a motive force to accelerate the construction of modern agriculture.
