| Abstract: | For fulfilling the historic task of constructing socialism new villages,the small libraries at the level of villages and towns have made highly positive contributions in China's vast rural areas.Up till the present moment,they have become the most effective bases for providing agricultural technological information and disseminating the advanced cultural knowledge.The various types of libraries,including the national and provincial libraries as well as the libraries at level of municipalities and counties,should spare no efforts to support the village-town libraries in an attempt to bring about a great advance for their diversified services for socialist new villages. |
