Layer colibacillosis is a common infectious disease caused by pathogenic E.coli infection.E.coli is widespread in nature and is a conditional pathogen.It is prevalent in farms with poor sanitary conditions and more stress factors.Colibacillosis has the characteristics of a wide range of occurrence,many infected groups,and various transmission routes.As the age of chickens decreases,the mortality rate after the onset of disease gradually increases.The unscientific drug use behavior of farmers in the development of layer breeding industry has significantly increased the resistance of E.coli and the prevention and control of multiple drugs has deteriorated,which has brought great difficulties to the prevention,control and treatment of such diseases.This article discusses the prevention and control measures of colibacillosis in free-range layers.
