澳大利亚荔枝产业考察报告

澳大利亚荔枝商业栽培始于十九世纪70年代，至今发展到2000余hm^2的规模，产区分布在东岸沿海地区，60％分布于昆士兰中部以北的热带地区。荔枝在该国虽仍是小作物，但年产值达到2000万澳元（1．28亿元人民币），不失为一个精品产业。2008年澳大利亚荔枝采收季节，作者应邀前往昆士兰荔枝产区考察，期间参观了果园、科研院所、市场，访问果农、推广官员和科研人员，对当地荔枝产业状况有所认识和感受，对此作以介绍。

The Investigation Report of Litchi Industry in Australia

Commercial cultivation of litchi in Australia started in 1870s, and up to now the industry has developed to a scale of 2000 ha. Litchi is distributed along the east coast, with 60% of litchi cultivation located in the warm subtropical regions in the north of central Queensland. Litchi in Australia is still a minor crop with an annual output of 20 million Australia dollars. During the harvesting season of 2008, we were invited to Queensland to investigate local litchi industry. During the trip, we visited orchards, research institutes and markets, interviewed growers, extension officers and researchers, and got rich information and deep impression about local litchi industry, which will be introduced in this paper.
