Abstract:In the present study, significant differences in the contents of four trace elements, Ca Mg, Fe and Zn, in tea leaves were noticed between different tea varieties and between different leaf ages. The distribution of theseelements showed a definite pattern. The ratio of Ca to Mg was approximately 1 regardless of thevariety of the tea or the age of the leaves.
