| Abstract: | White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) is one of the main sources of shrimp diseases. An effective method to prevent the virus is to examine the virus in time by using modern biotechnology. For this purpose, improvements were made in PCR system for detecting WSSV in penaeid shrimp, including template preparation, the selection of primers and the improved parameters in PCR reaction. The improved system proved to be stable, rapid and sensitive, therefore it can be used easily in the diagnosis of WSSV. |
