我国西瓜雄性不育系的研究利用

摘    要:综述了光滑无毛雄性不育、G17AB雄性不育、短蔓雄性不育和易位雄性不育4种西瓜不育型在我国的研究利用进展,结果表明,G17AB雄性不育型、短蔓雄性不育型利用价值较低,光滑无毛雄性不育型有进一步研究和间接利用的价值,易位雄性不育型可直接利用,但不育系育性差,采种量低,种子成本较高,制种环节较多,应用程度受到了限制。综其所述后认为,进一步研究和发掘生产利用价值高且不附带任何不良性状的西瓜雄性不育系、全雌系或杀雄系,应成为西瓜不育系研究利用的方向。

Abstract:Research and utilization on four types of male sterile watermelon in China were summarized. These types of male sterile were glabrous male sterile, G17AB male sterile, dwarf male sterile and translocation male sterile. The results showed that G17AB male sterile, dwarf male sterile had lower utilization value, glabrous male sterile were worthy of further research and could be used indirectly, translocation male sterile could be applied directly but limited because of complex process and bad fertility result in lower seed yield, high cost of seed production. It should be the research and utilization direction to study and explore higher utilization value with no bad characters male sterile, gynoecious and chemic castration lines of watermelon in the future.
