| Abstract: | Xingda 3 was a waxy corn variety bred by crossing with the parental combined waxy inbred line K12 intriduced as female parent with waxy inbred line 378599 selected as male parent.In 2008—2009,the average yield of Xingda 3 was 11 805.75 kg/hm2 and 3.34% higher than of the check Yuyu 22 at fourteen places in the corn variety regional test in Gansu.The results showed that seed grain（dry basis） content of moisture,ash,crude protein,crude starch,crude fat,lysine were 12.3%,10.40 g/kg,99.60 g/kg,757.60 g/kg,36.20 g/kg,3.67 g/kg,respectively.In addition,Xingda 3 was moderate resistance to head smut,leaf blight,smut tumors,dwarf mosaic virus,leaves disease,and resistance to stem rot.It is suitable for the region of the effective accmulative temperature was 2 700 ~ 2 900 ℃,and Hexi areas,Lanzhou,Baiyin,Tianshui and other central Gansu. |
