| Abstract: | Liquid fibroin protein was secreted in posterior part of silk gland,and its concentration was 12%. When it went through the middle and anterior part of silk gland, theprotein was transformed from gel to sol because of the Ca++ irons. The concentration was 25-30% with liquid crystalline phase. Therefore, the silk protein sol flowed easily in the spinning tube and was spun to be the fiber through the drawing from the swing of the silkwormhead. |
