辣椒果实的生长发育规律及其对种子质量的影响

辣椒果实的生长发育是“S”形曲线。30天左右可达到商品成熟,45天即可红熟。40天果龄的种子才具有发芽力,在不经过后熟情况下,刚具发芽力的种子与红熟果实种子的发芽情况差异不显著。后熟对种子质量具有明显促进作用,但不同成熟度的果实,最佳后熟期不同。果实大小与种子数、种子重呈显著正相关;大果实的种子质量优于小果实的种子质量;果实在植株上的分布不同,对种子质量也产生很大影响。

The Growth Habit of Pepper Fruit and The Effect to the Quality of It's Seed

The growth Curve of a pepper fruit is in the shape of"S". It needs about 30 days for a pepper fruit to finish it's goods age, and about 45 days to it's red-ripe age. The growth habit of a pepper fruit is closely relative to the quaclty of it's Seeds. Until the age of a pepper fruit is over 40 days, it's seeds have not germination ability. If after-rippering is not happened, there is not clear difference between the Seeds which just start to have germination ability and ones of red-ripe fruits in germination habit After-ripering can improve clearly the quality of pepper Seeds, but how long the best latter stage of ripening is varies with the ripeness of pepper fruits. 7 days for the fruits which is at its best, and over 15 days for the fruits which is in it's goods age or red-ripe age.The bigger the fruit, the more the amount of its seed, and the heavier its seed. Pepper seed quality of a bigger fruit is better than that of less one. There is also a great effect on pepper seed quality for the different position of pepper fruits on a pepper plant.
