乡土阔叶树种生长比较

在广州郊区帽峰山林场开展6 个乡土阔叶树种生产性扩大栽培试验,经5 .5 年的生长观察,结果表明,半枫荷和红锥年平均生长量分别为:树高2 .09 ,1 .81 m ,胸径1 .62 ,1 .61cm ,蓄积11 .33 ,9 .77 m 3/h m 2 ,均属优良速生用材树种,作为生态公益林建设很有发展潜力。木荷虽种植于山脊,但生长相当快,年均生长树高1 .63 m ,胸径1 .33 cm ,蓄积8 .52 m 3/h m 2 ,属生长较快和较好的树种,除作防护林带经营外,也可作为用材林或混交林伴生树种。阴香和海南红豆生长一般,年均生长分别为:树高1 .39 ,0 .87 m ,胸径1 .29 ,0 .75 cm ,蓄积4 .56 ,0 .90m 3/h m 2 ,可作为景观绿化树种。铁冬青生长差,但耐阴性较强,可作为混交伴生树种。

GROWTH COMPARISON OF INDIGENOUS BROAD LEAVED TREE SPECIES

In order to search the potential of indigenous broad leaved tree species, planting trail of six broad leaved tree species was conducted in Maofengshan Forest Farm of Guangdong province in 1992. The measure results showed that the annual mean increment of height, D.B.H. and stand volume of Pterospermum heterophyllum and Castanopsis hystrix was respectively 2.09 m, 1.62 cm, 11.33 m 3/hm 2 and 1.81 m, 1.61 cm and 9.77 m 3/hm 2. These two species are belonging to fast growing species and of great potential for ecological forests developing. Although Schima superba was planted in the top of the hills, it grew fast with annual mean increment of 1.63 m in height, 1.33 cm in D.B.H., 8.52 m 3/hm 2 in stand volume. The species can serve protective forests, timber forests and mixed plantations. Annual mean increment of height, D.B.H., stand volume of Cinnamomum burmannii and Ormosia pinnata was 1.39 m, 1.29 cm, 4.56 m 3/hm 2, and 0.87 m, 0.75 cm, 0.90 m 3/hm 2 respectively. These two species can be used as ornamental and greening trees. The Ilex rotunda grew badly, but it can be used as associated species in mixed forests in view of its potential of shade tolerance.
