Relationship between Ecological Civilization and Urban Forestry Buildup

Ecological civilization sets new goals and requirements for urban forestry buildup and also poses new opportunities and challenges. On the basis of defining the connotation of ecological civilization and urban forestry buildup, the paper described the unity of ecological civilization and urban forestry construction, and analyzed the dialectical relationship between them from two angles, i. e., ecological civilization is the ensuring base for urban forestry buildup and urban forestry contains the core values of ecological civilization. The study was aimed at providing references for healthy, harmonious and sustainable development of urban forestry in the context of ecological civilization.
