西黄松不同种源在北京地区的初期表现

在北京地区以西黄松三个变种的8个种源进行了外来树种的引种试验。苗期观测结果表明,内陆西黄松幼苗在北京比较稳定,生长也较好,而沿海西黄松和亚利桑那西黄松的幼苗则在前两年逐渐死亡。和其他两变种相比,内陆西黄松原产地气候大陆性强,冬季温度低,夏季温度高,年降水量少,且为夏雨型,和北京最类似。

Early Performance of Provenances of Ponderosa Pine in Beijing

8 provenances from 3 varieties of ponderpsa pine were studied in an introduction experiment conducted in Beijing area. Result showed the seedling of Pinus ponderosa var. scopularum grows better and more steadily in this area while that of P. ponderosa var. ponderosa and P. ponderosa var.arizona die increasingly during the first 2 years. The differences could be explained in relation to the climat similarity between the origin and introduced areas. In the original growing area of P. ponderosa var. scopularum, much like in Beijing, there is a stronger continental climat, temperature being lower in winter and higher in summer with lower annual precipitation falling mainly in summer.
