建宁杉奕刺蛾新种记述

刺蛾科（Limacodidae）幼虫多为害果树与林木,一般均系阔叶树种。近年,福建发生一种刺蛾严重危害杉木,建宁县林业局与福建林学院在专题研究。成虫标本经鉴定,属奕刺蛾属（Phlossa）一新种,特在此描述以供引用。

Phlossa Jianningana sp. nov. Injuring Chinese Fir Recorded

A new species of genus Phlossa Walker (=Iragoides Hering ) has been found injuring the common China fir trees in Fujian Province recently, and is described here, whose type specimens are kept in the Insect Collections of Beijing Agricultural University. Phlossa Jianningana Yang et Jiang, sp. nov. Length of body 11 ( ), 12-13( ) mm,wingspan 25-27( ),32-34( )mm. Body and. forewings red-brown, hindwings grey-brown, with central black dot in both wings, and some black scales on the dorsal surface of forewings, and on the undersurface of hindwings. Legs re-brown, hindlegs somewhat pale, and the tip of anterior coxa whiter-yellow, a distinct silveral white terminal spot on the anterior tibia of males. Antenna of male with one row of short pectina tions, and the female simple. Male genitalia as fig. 2, and the female as in fig. 3. Holotype , allotype , paratypes 2 2 , Fujian Prov.
