Occurrence and control of rice bacterial foot rot

Rice bacterial foot rot is a bacterial disease that endangers many rice areas south of the Yangtze River in China. When it is serious, it can lead to the loss of rice yield. In recent years, the disease has been damaged in some areas such as Jiangsu and Yunnan, which poses a serious threat to the high and stable yield of local rice. Based on the existing reports and the latest research progress, this paper will briefly summarize the damage situation, pathogen introduction, disease symptoms, disease factors and control methods of the disease at home and abroad, so as to provide corresponding basis for the identification and control of the disease in production.
