| Abstract: | The red imported fire ant,Solenopsis invicta Buren(Hymenoptera:Formicidae),an alien species,is one of the most dangerous and devastating insect pests in the world and has invaded several provinces of South China.A brief introduction to its taxonomy position,morphological features,distribution,hosts,harmfulness,biology and prevention suggestions was given in this paper. |
