Development Trend of Tannin Industry

In this review paper the authour gives an introduction of current status and development trend to tannin industry,including the sdection of raw materials, establishment of planations as material bases, exploitation of new tannin resources and prevention of materials from degradation. It is also discussed that attempts have been made in some countries, including China,to improve technology and equipment of tannin industry and the new uses of tannin, for instance, in the production of adhesive, medicine and cosmetics as well as in the treatment of waste water and gas.
