The Hexi corridor oasis lies in arid area , and surrounded by desert.It is being brought up by inland river originated from QiLian mountains.It's scale and distribution show typical valley feature.The river is the important defences of the earth desertification. Limited water resources is the dominant factor of oasis ecology. In order to improve ecological environment, the water resources should be planed and managed as a whole. The protection of water resources, and balance of water resources are the key of benign circle of desert oasis.
