| Abstract: | Genetic correlation and path analysis of nine characters related to photosynthesis and grain yield were conducted with 15 genotypes from diallel cross in corn (Zea mays L.). The result indicated that the total leaf area per plant, grain filling rate, leaf orientation value, effective filling duration, harvest index and leaf area of seedlings had positive direct effects on grain yields. It was shown improving these traits in the corn breeding program could further increase corn yields. |
