Abstract:The paper discusses the approaches to people-oriented management in li brary and emphasizes that the examples set by library leaders should act as the precondition of people-oriented management. The base and key of people-oriented management was the participation by librarians and the key is librarian-oriented incentive measure. It is essential to reform system structure, optimize operati on mechanism and people-oriented ideology and political work so as to guarantee the action.
