Abstract:
A scheme of electromechanical compound continuously variable transmission(EMCVT) for tractors is proposed, which splits the engine power into two circuits, the mechanical circuit efficiently transmits high power, the motor circuit realizes infinitely variable transmission, and the two circuits pass through the dual planetary row.Complete high-efficiency continuously variable transmission.The speed ratio characteristics, torque characteristics and electric power shunt characteristics of the transmission system are analyzed, and it is shown that the system equipped with low-power motors can meet the continuously variable transmission requirements of high-power tractors.The efficiency characteristics are studied, and the results show that compared with the hydromechanical continuously variable transmission(HMCVT), the transmission efficiency of EMCVT is increased by 9% at the maximum, and the maximum efficiency reaches 95.6%. For long-term full-power and high-load tractors, electromechanical shunt variable-speed transmission is used, and there is no need to be equipped with large-capacity batteries and high-power motors, which can improve the structure of the tractor. The research provides a kind of high-efficiency, high-integration and low-cost solutions for tractor’s continuously variable transmission.
