| Abstract: | There is a rich resource of nontimber forest plants in Sichuan, comprising over 300 oil plants, 200 fragrance plants, 150 starch plants, 220 fiber plants and 150 tannin plants. According to the natural distribution and socioeconomic conditions, these plants are geographically divided into 4 areas and 11 sub-areas. The division can be a good basis for rational arrangement of production. |
