| 摘 要： | 随着全球热带雨林面积的急剧减少，对热带林的经营管理日益得到人类的关注。雷达系统以其全天侯、全天时、穿透性等功能成为支持森林可持续经营中信息采集的重要工具。文中介绍了用现有技术做雷达影像分析，以及这些技术应用于全球水平、国家水平和森林经营单位水平的森林资源评价和森林资源监测的潜力。

| Abstract: | With the rapid decrease of global tropical rain forest,more attention has been paid to the tropical forest management.Radar systems are the important tools which support information collection of sustainable forest management because of their capability to image the Earth's tropical forests in the way of all weather, all timeliness and penetrability. The paper introduced the analysis of radar images with existing techniques and the potential of radar application to forest resource assessment and forest resource monitoring at the global, national and local spatial levels. |
