科尔沁沙地西部草甸植物萌发特征

摘    要:研究了科尔沁沙地西部64种草甸植物在实验室条件下的萌发特征.结果表明,1)64种草甸植物中,30种植物发芽率超过80%,41种植物发芽率超过50%;2)12种禾本科植物中有8种萌发率达85%以上,5种菊科植物发芽率超过85%,所有豆科植物发芽率都小于50%;3)种子萌发能力与生活型相关,一年生植物种子较容易发芽,灌木种子最不易发芽;4)种子萌发能力与种子形态学特征有关,大多数小种子物种具有高萌发率,圆锥形或钻形的种子较大的发芽率,具芒和毛的种子偏向高萌发能力.

Abstract:Under laboratory conditions,the seed germination characteristics of 64 plant species which were taken from a meadow in the western Horqin Steppe were examined.Results showed that:1) germination rates were higher than 80% for 30 of the 64 plant species,with 41 species having a germination rate higher than 50%;2) germination rates of 8 of the 14 species of Gramineae,and 5 species of Compositae were higher than 85%,with the germination rate of all Leguminosae species lower than 50%;3) seed germination was correlated with life forms.Annual herb seeds tended to have high germination rates,but shrub seeds tended to have a low germination ability;4) seed germination was also correlated with morphological characteristics of seeds.The smallest-seeded species showed high germination rates.The quadrate or conical seeds and seeds with antrorse hairs and pappus generally tended to have relatively high germination rates.
