| Abstract: | This experiment was conducted to study the effects of vitamin A on bee population,sealed brood quantity and larva antioxidant of Apis mellifera ligustica.Ten cages of honey bees obtained from a local apiary were used in the study.Honey bees were randomly allocated to 2 groups(control group and experimental group) with 5 replicates each.Bees in the control group were fed the basal diet,and those in the experimental group were fed the diet supplemented with 7 500 IU/kg vitamin A in the basal diet.The results ... |
