| Abstract: | Three silvicultural treatments were used, namely, 1)constructing soil and water conservation contour ditches, 2)loosening the soil by hoeing 10-30 cm deep once every other year, and 3)check plots without tending whatsoever. Results indicated that the most biomass production in the form of fruit, stem, shoot, leaf, and root was harvested from test plots with treatment No. 1, whereas treatment No.3 yielded the least biomass and treatment No.2 yielded biomass in between. |
