Practice of Biotechnology Teaching Reform in Higher Agricultural Vocational College under Employment Orientation

To promote the students’ employment is the basic objective of the higher vocational education reform.To achieve this objective,the biotechnology and application curriculum in Zhengzhou College of Animal Husbandry Engineering is designed on the resource advantages brought by Henan Province as a large agricultural province.On the basis of the position as the leading major of the college-animal husbandry and veterinary——and the market need of the animal production industry,the major’s employment and training objectives are determined accordingly.To develop distinct characteristics and build a bridge between the school education and the corporation needs,the practice reform of personnel training mode and curriculum system is aimed at strengthening the students’ employability and improving the quality of their employment.
