| Abstract: | A field experiment was condcted in Chongqing to study the effects of different seeding dates, thickness of sowing and heeling-in seeding age on the yield of pepper. The results showed that Zaofeng No. 1 variety had better characters and higher early yield under the following conditions: seeding in the middle or last ten-day of October,thickness of sowing 6.5 kg/667 m2, and heeling-in with 2 or 4 leaves.There were not significant difference in the total yields among treatments. |
