Evaluation on Effect of Fertrazamide on Controlling Weeds in Rice Fields

The field trail on the effect of 50?rtrazamide WP on controlling weeds and safety in transplant and direct-planting rice field was conducted during 1999-2001. The results showed that the herbicide was safe to rice plant and had good effeet controlling to barnyardgrass, the suitable period of applying and the period of effect kept was longer. Applying the mixture of 50?rtrazamide WP at 100-187.5g.ai/hm21-1.5 leaf age of Echinochloa crus-galli, or 50?rtrazamide WP at 180-225 g.ai/hm2 and bensulfuron 10% wethyl WP at 37.5 g.ai/hm2 at 2-2.5 leaf age of Echinochloa crus-galli in transplanted rice field, or 50% fertrazamide WP at 125-187.5 g.ai/hm2 and bensulfuron 10%methyl WP at 37.5 g.ai/hm2 at 1-1.5 leaf age of barnyardgrass, or 50?rtrazamide WP 150-225 g.ai/hm2 and bensulfuron 10%methyl WP at 45 g.ai/hm2 at 2-2.5 leaf age of barnyardgress in direct-planting rice field, could effeetively cntrol barnyardgrass and brood-leaf weeds in rice fields.
