浅析我国高校名称的结构及用词特点

以穷尽材料的方法，从社会语言学的角度，对当前我国高校名称作全面的考察，以期总结出其结构及用词特点。我国高校名称的结构可以分为通名和专名两大部分，通名用词有“大学”、“学院”和“学校”；专名用词有表示办学性质、所在地或区域、投资创办者名称、伟人名称等7种情况。公办高校名称的专名用词比较单调，绝大多数是表所在地或区域、专业领域或培养目标的词语；民办高校名称的专名用词较丰富，往往加入表投资创办者名称、教育性质等词语。不管是公办还是民办高校，都以使用表示名城或大地域的词语为时尚。
