Abstract:The fertility changes of 4 PGMR--lines, Nongken 58S, 6334S, W7415S, and W6154S, in response to the combinations of different photoperiods and temperatures were studied in phytotron. The results showed that, the fertility changes of Nongken 58S and other 3 lines, which were transformed from Nongken 58S, were controlled by both photoperiod and temperature. All the lines had the photoperiodic sensitivity in their fertility changes in a certain temperature range. But the critical points in terms of light and temperature were various among the lines. According to that the model of light and temperature in fertility changes of PGMR was offered and the goal of breeding was discussed.
