| Abstract: | Histidinol dehydrogenase catalyzes the biosynthetic oxidation of L histidinol to L histidine with sequential reduction of two molecules of NAD +. The structure, catalytic mechanism and inhibitors of histidinol dehydrogenase are discussed in this review with 18 references. |
