Strengthening the management of construction costs under the market economic conditions

With the continuous development of Chinese reformation of economic system and the progressive transition from planned economy to market economy. it is the urgent matter about how to manage engineering cost. and how to get engineering cost to meet the needs of the development of market economy with the characteristics of opening and competition. This article deals with certain problems in this field according to the current practice of the management of engineering cost. The authors present the four concrete suggestions about how to enhance the management of engineering cost on the condition of market economy and the suggestions are very realistic and instructive to the practice.
