Abstract:Selenium is a kind of beneficial minor element for human being, and it is also indispensable in plant growth. The research advances on the kinds of plants rich with selenium and ability of selenium accumulation of plants, the mechanism of absorption, metabolism and accumulation in plant, and application methods of selenium fertilizer are reviewed, so as to provide reference for cultivation management of crops rich with selenium and rich selenium product development in the future.
