美国玉米生产概述

美国是首创玉米杂交种的国家，也是世界上第一玉米生产大国，其玉米的经济实力最强、技术最先进，美国玉米种植面积、总产量和出口都居世界之首。20世纪90年代统计表明，美国玉米面积为2821.5万hm2，占全世界玉米面积的20.8%；总产量为22230.8万t，占世界玉米总产量的36.7%。美国玉米单产水平达到7240kg/hm2，相当于世界平均单产的1倍。笔者从美国玉米生产概况，即玉米种植区域化及生产专业化、玉米杂种优势利用和玉米病虫草害综合防治技术等方面进行概述。

First creation hybrid maize is American, which is number one country in maize production, economy power, advantage technology, maize plant acreage under cultivation, total production and maize export in the world. The statistics in 1980s indicated that American maize acreage under cultivation is 28.215 million hectares, which accounts for 20 percent of that of the world. Total maize production of American is 22 230.8 thousand tons, which account for 36.7 percent of that of the world. Maize unit yield of American is 7240 kg per hectare, which is more than 1 time of that of the world. It summarized American maize production, including maize plant by division into districts, maize production specialization, utilization of maize heterosis and corn comprehensive control technology of the diseases, insects and harmful weed.
