| Abstract: | Triadimenol and triadimefon, the systemic fungicides of triazoles, were selected as the better chemicals to control effectively corn take- all in the light of the results from plate fungistasis test in vitro as wall as from the experiments in pot and field on the examination of their effects to suppress the disease. In the field trial, 3% granulated triad- imenol and triadimefon used by spot application at the rate of 1.5kg/mu resulted in a marked decline in diseased root index by 64%and 40%, and an increase in corn yields by 25.9% and 23.5%, respectively. |
