The path analysis of the household registration system reform in the context of Urban and rural development

China’s current household registration system is the dual urban-rural split system.It has caused lots of problems and negative effects,such as unequal citizenship and hindering free movement of labour,slowing down the process of urbanization,increasing the difficulty of population management.In the context of urban and rural development,the household registration system will reform to be an one-tier system from dual system,eventually establishing a nationwide household registration system of equality.
