| Abstract: | Summary Similar amounts of metalaxyl were deposited onto potato leaves on the middle and lower parts of the stem by different tractor-mounted sprayers, but much more was deposited onto apical leaves by an electrostatic sprayer. Late blight spread into plots from inoculated guard plants but was controlled by Fubol (metalaxyl+mancozeb) at least as well when applied electrostatically (4.4 or 91/ha) as hydraulically (200l/ha). |
