Research Progress on the Application of Probiotics in Animal Breeding Industry

As a series of living microorganism agents,probiotics could modulate host microflora banlance,improve growing properties of animals and immunity against pathogens by adding to animal feed. In addition,probiotics also had ability to enhance the feed digestion and reduce environmental contamination. Due to both favorable environment protection and economic benefits,probiotics had been widely applied in animal feed. Hence,application of probiotics in animal feed was summarized.
