| 摘 要： | 古树名木的保护是林业部门的一项重要职责，但长期以来，古树名木档案十分缺乏，这对保护相当不利。本文以广东省为例，着重阐述了古树名木建档工作的重要意义，并提出为古树名木建档的具体做法．使古树名木档案能真正有效地被利用，为今后开展古树名木保护工作打好基础。
