| Abstract: | Recent development of biotechnology researches in grapes is outlined in the aspects such as rapid propagation,embryo culture and anther culture,cell culture,protoplast culture,genetic engineering,in vitro conservation of germplasm. A lot of significant proceedings of biotechnology in propagating and breeding of grape have been gained, and remarkable economic value has been produced. Great potential of cell culture,protoplast culture and genetic engineering in new grape cultivar breeding needs to be developed further. |
