SWOT Analysis and Development Strategy of Mangrove Wetland Ecotourism in Shuidong Bay

Mangrove wetlands are the important resources for the development of forest recreation and ecological tourism in coastal area. Managing the mangrove wetland in Shuidong bay scientifically is a problem that must be considered in the development of local green economy. The Strength Weakness Opportunity Threats(SWOT) analysis showed that the mangrove wetland in Shuidong bay has obvious advantages on the natural conditions and the geographical location in the development of ecological tourism. However, there are disadvantages including serious pollution partly, poor infrastructure and monotonous landscape. Eco-tourism development of the mangrove wetland inShuidong bay should catch the opportunity of construction of ecological civilization, overcome the contradiction between development and protection, take effective management measures, and construct a tourism scenic spot with powerful ecological service function.
