| Abstract: | Based on a discussion on the functions of mathematics modeling and the intrinsic relationship between mathematics modeling and quality -oriented education, this paper argues that the teaching and contest of mathematics modeling are effective ways of implementing quality - oriented education and that education in mathematics is a component of quality - oriented education and mathematics modeling is the embodiment of quality - oriented education. |
