“蒹葭苍苍，白露为霜”——追忆浙江茶人刘润涛先生

刘润涛先生（1907—1960），中国农业／茶叶经济学家，1930年毕业于南京金陵大学农经系，是美国农经学家卜凯教授的学生。1930年，刘润涛留校任教，1934年二月他参加了金大农经系的四省农村经济调查，写出了具有历史价值的安徽屯溪、祁门、湖北羊楼洞和江西宁州的四份茶业调查报告。到今天为止，这四份报告仍对二十世纪茶业经济研究有着重要的价值，常常被研究茶史和茶业经济的学者们参考和引用。1949年，吴觉农先生邀请刘润涛到北京中国茶叶公司任副总经理，以后的十年里，他为中国茶业的规划和发展做了大量的工作。刘润涛在1958年被划为“右派”下放西北。1960年因脑溢血在西安去世，年仅53岁。

Mr.Run-tao Liu

Mr.Run-tao Liu(1907-1960) was an agricultural economist,specializing in tea economics.Liu graduated from Jin-ling(Nanjing)University in 1930 and was a student of Professor John Lossing Buck.He became a faculty member of the department of Agricultural Economics in 1930 and was promoted in 1934.In the same year,Liu participated in the study of Four Provinces Economics condition in southern China,sponsored by the Farmer′s Bank of China,and he produced four investigative reports of Tea(Tunxi and Qimen in Anhui,Ningzhou in Jiang-xi and Yangloudong in Hubei).Because of the depth and breadth of the studies,these reports are still significant today and continue to be read and cited by researchers of tea history and tea economics.In 1949,Mr.Wu jue-nong invited Liu to Beijing,to work at the Tea Corporation of PRC as the general deputy manager.In the following decade,Liu was responsible for planning national tea development.In 1958,he was labeled a "rightist",and was sent to Qing-hai province.He passed away in May 1960 in Xian.
