On Educational Reform of the Physical Chemistry Course for Biotechnology Majors

Abstract:On the basis of the training targets of biotechnology major and from the perspective of educational innovation,this paper discusses the important role and fundamental status of the physical chemistry course for the major.Based on a profound understanding of the characters of biotechnology,four parts of physical-chemistry educational reform have been carried out,including the course system,the teaching contents and methodology,the scientific evaluation system,and combination of theoretical teaching with practical production.The focus of the educational reform is placed on the development direction of physical chemistry and the approach to educating talents adaptable to practical production with creativity.
