Abstract:Calcium carbonate is the third reinforcement of rubber only inferior to carbon dioxide silicon, featured by little toxicity, low price and excellent reinforcing. Lately, with the development of nanometer technology, the study of nanometer calcium carbonate reinforcing rubber is very active. This paper first introduces the characteristics of nanometer, nanometer technology and nanometer particles, and then proceeds to expound on the research progress in the preparation of nanometer calcium carbonate, superficial modifying, and nanometer calcium carbonate composites.
