摘    要:森林生长规律的可视化表达对于森林经营决策以及改善人类生存环境质量都有着重要的意义.虚拟地理环境为在三维场景中模拟林分的生长过程提供了新的平台.首先介绍了林分生长模型国内外的研究现状,指出当前林分生长规律研究中存在的不足:无法三维动态地表示林分的生长过程,然后讨论了虚拟地理环境和林分生长模型的关系.提出了一种基于数据库的虚拟森林环境构造方法,并在这个环境中模拟了林分的生长过程.林分的生长模拟从林分的初植期开始,用Weibull分布获得林木的直径分布、树高分布和位置信息,然后根据林分枯死模型,模拟林分密度的自然稀疏过程,并计算剩余林木的生长参数(胸径、树高、冠幅等),利用树木三维模型形成不同时段的林分景观.

Abstract:Visualization of forest growth law is important to forest management decision and improvement of our environment quality .) Virtual geographic environments provides a new platform for simulating growth process of forest stand in 3D scene.Current Issues of stand growth model are firstly introduced and lackness of current research on stand growth law,i.e, it can't represent stand growth process dynamically in 3D scene is mentioned. The relation between Virtual Geographic Environments and stand growth model is then discussed. An approach to construct virtual forest environment based on database is presented in this paper and stand growth process is simulated in the environment. The growth simulation starts from initial stage of stand and gets diameter distribution ,height distribution and location information of stand with Weibull distribution. Then it simulates the natural sparseness process of stand according to stand death forecast model and calculates growth parameters(diameter,height,crown,etc)of the remainder trees and forms stand landscapes of different stages by the 3D tree model.
