| Abstract: | The hydrological functions of forest litter were described which included water-holding capability,rainfall interception,retarding runoff velocity,improving soil structure and reducing effect on the surface flow and sediment.During forest management practice,some measures should be taken to promote the accumulation of forest litter. |
