| Abstract: | Efficacy of multiple inoculation route was investigated for the evelopment of a practical immunizationRoute against bacterial gill-rot disease and bacterial septicemia in cultured mandarinfish(Siniperca chuatsi B.),Cytophaga columnaris lipopolysaccharied(LPS) was used to immunize fish by immersion for 15 minutes,then it was injected intraperitoneal with phenol killed Aeromonas hydrophila(P-AH).The agglutinating antibody titers of both LPS and P-AH immunized mandarinfish was high when compared. to the controls. In vitro phagocytic index of the phagocytes in total blood and head kidney were high in immunization group than that found in the control group.The relative percent survival of immunized mandarinfish were 55.6%,76.9% after experimental chalenge with live C.colummaris and A.hydrophila respectively. |
